Each semester Chi Delta Alpha hold's a philanthropic event to help raise awareness of and fund a local charity.

For Fall 2022, Chi Delta Alpha’s chose to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for our fall philanthropy. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder
that effects the lungs and can cause infections. The Internal Philanthropy Co-Chairs, Kaela Zazzaretti and Kaleigh Miller, hosted events for Chi Delta Alpha and other organizations to participate in. Kaela and Kaleigh hosted a volleyball game, held percentage night with businesses in Blacksburg, and even held a grilled cheese stand downtown. In total Chi Delta Alpha raised $1,367 to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Chi Delta Alpha sisters and other organizations all had a great time participating in these events and fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
