Chi Delta Alpha's primary purpose is to serve the community. The sisterhood often completes more than 3,000 hours of service per semester through participation in a variety of different projects. Sisters routinely work with children in local elementary schools, area food banks, the Women's Resource Center of the NRV, and many others.

Service officers are responsible for building relationships with these outside service organizations and scheduling sister volunteer times.
